Seniors Nam and Armanjot presented their capstone project findings at the UIC Undergraduate Research Forum held on April 6th. Nam presented his project entitled “Influence of Natural and Synthetic Ovarian Hormones on Subjective Responses to Alcohol” and Armanjot presented his project “Subjective Responses to Methamphetamine in Men, Naturally Cycling Women and Women Using Birth Control Pill” – AND won the award for third place in the Life Sciences category!!! Congratulations Armanjot! It must have been your award-winning answer to a judge's question about the opium wars that cinched it.
